Lamprolonchaea fulgida
MALE. All metatarsi wholly lemon-yellow except for a narrow, brownish ring at extreme apex; remaining segments dark-brown. Calyptrae, margins and fringes uniformly creamy-white. Wings hyaline; veins pale-yellowish. Distance between 3rd and 4th veins at apices, 0.66 of this distance at posterior crossvein (2.0:3.0). Frons smooth; shining black; pollen scarcely evident; lower interfrontal hairs distinctly longer than other interfrontal hairs. Mesonotum, scutellum, and abdomen, extremely brilliant golden-green. Scutellum highly pohshed on disc; pollen restricted to lateral declivities; without apical setulae but with one hair on each side between the strong bristles. Ahdomen highly polished. Epandrium wider than long in lateral aspect; 4 to 5 bristles at posterior apex much longer and stronger tlisn remaining bristles; the longest one about 1.5 times as long as epandrium. Aedeagus very long; about 6 times as long as base; tube-like: G-shaped in lateral view; nearly as large near apex as near base, i.e., very little tapered from base to apex; with a distinct dorsovenrral itndulation near apex; apex moderately flared.
