Lonchaea ragnari
The characters of the male genitalia indicate that the species is related
to L freyi, but L ragnan is rather easy to separate from the latter by help
of the characters used m the key on p 93 On the other hand, L. ragnari,
especially the female can m some cases be very difficult to separate from
hmatula Collin. The colour of the metatarsi is no absolutely reliable character.
The ovipositor, is m both species of the same type. The stigmatical bristles
are, however, m ragnan, three or four, in hmatula as a rule only one, sometimes
two Fuither L ragnan has one or two hairs on the frontal oibitae above the
orbital bustle, m hmatula there are no such hairs.
