Silba fumosa (Setisquamalonchaea)
Ecology:
S. fumosa has a larval association with a wide range of decaying plant materials ranging from silage to the stem bases of the giant hogweed,. Although most common around the Mediterranean and aparently more coastal in the north it is found in most of Europe north to Sweden, there are also records from Israel, Canada (British Columbia), western USA where iit may be an introduction
