| Abstract: | This translation from the Russian of the second of a 2-part series on the Diptera and Siphonaptera of the European part of the USSR contains keys to 67 families of Diptera and 6 families of Siphonaptera, and to the species of these families. Many of the families dealt with in this volume are of agricultural, medical or veterinary importance. A total of about 8300 species of Diptera is dealt with in the 2 parts of the volume, and 160 species of Siphonaptera are dealt with in this part. Indexes are provided to the Latin names of species of Diptera occurring in both parts of the volume and to the Latin names of the species of Siphonaptera |
