shining t junction with frons, these parts more li e those of latiterebra than D spatiosa. Antennae with third joint on inner side not one and a halftimes
as long as wide, rather shorter than in spatiosa. Two or three longer vibrissa bristles on front part of jowls, but these are not as strong s in spatiosa.
M1°1'aX rafier 1 0re umversally usted and consequently less shining than spatiosa finer hairs on dorsum longer, and instead of the 1-2 stronger
poststigmatical bristles of spatiosa and latiterebra there are 2-4 shorter finer hairs; the anterior mesopleural hairs being also short and fine the
po tstigmatical have the appearance of being a continuation forward at upper corner of the mesopleural pubescence, but they are undoubtedly placed
on the s me poststigmatical sclente as the single strong bristle iin spatiosa • one propleurai and one stigmatic l bristle above front coxae, not -4 of latter

Described from two typical males taken at Aviemore (Inverness-shire')
early in June 1913, and male from Barton Mills (Suffolk) caught on'sth
June, 1931, when D. latiterebra. was also taken. '
